We create beautiful bespoke millinery for the races, wedding, balls and parties. Being passionate about millinery from all decades especially the glamour of Hollywood in the 1940’s to the eccentric designs of the 1960’s helps us to understand and develop the perfect hat or headpiece for our clients.
Racing hats can be constructed using unusual materials, a sculptural design or simply to coordinate perfectly with the outfit. New for 2010 Sharper Millinery now creates beautiful birdcage veils and headpieces for the bride looking for an alternative to a traditional veil or tiara. And not forgetting the mother of the bride or groom who can feel stylish and elegant with a stunning bespoke hat made from traditional or modern techniques.
Sharper Millinery provides an exclusive consultation service for every client to create their unique headpiece or hat allowing the client to be part of the design process. Using the highest level of skill we will then create your bespoke headpiece or hat to the specified colour, shape or style. (We advise you to have your outfit first if buying or to have a swatch of fabric available if your outfit is being made before booking a consultation so we can work with the perfect colours to match or coordinate with your outfit).
A minimum of four weeks is required for Couture hats and two weeks for headpieces (depending on material availability). Prices Start from £50 for a small headpiece and from £150 for a headpiece, please contact us for more information about our couture hats and head sculptures.
