An experimental sculptural headpiece created from aluminium mesh twisted and moulded to create a disc shape. Loops of pearls, mesh discs and a cameo brooch make up the central part of this piece with wire threads radiating from the centre. This piece is fitted on a ribbon wrapped band. Large organza flower created using hand tinted blush and ivory fabrics and beautiful layering techniques to give the effect of many petals. The centre of the flower is beaded with pearls and crystals. Mounted onto a large comb so it is wearable at the back or side of the head. -
This piece can be worn in several different ways, one large ivory silk Dupion rose is connected by two rose gold chains to two smaller roses. It can be worn with the chains across the forehead so the roses sit on either side of the head. They can all be worn on the same side so the chains create long loops or the chains can go across the back of the head or around a bun. The flexibility of the piece allows you to have several looks in one. Large flower and smaller flowers fitted with metal combs. Can be created in any fabric or colour. -
